As the money disappears, jobs cut, investments dry up, this is a great attitude to adopt so that panic doesn't get a grip. Forget about portfolios and all that programming that has been crammed down everyone's throats for so long. This is not how the divine economy was designed. Give it a try . . you'll see.
I have no savings, am upside down on my mortgage, although the social security I'm receiving I don't expect to last forever . . and since I've had a much happier attitude change because I'm discovering the truth about how it all works, I won't be needing drugs, nor will I be incurring dis-ease. So it's really the only way to go, the right way and the way the promotes more and more happiness as we watch our supply always replenished on a daily basis. OH, and I forgot to mention I'm now enjoying my mid-seventies.

How bout the new paradigm which is gradually kicking in . . and that is trusting God to supply one’s daily needs with a relaxed feeling of expectation that all is well. I would make sure my 401k is maxed out, company stock options maxed out, house is payed off, etc..before saving 2 years worth of expenses.

2 years is too much.. 6 months is sufficient.
